Dear Member,

     Your application for contract renewals for the 2010/11 indoor tennis season has been mailed.    Our August letter will contain information on club activities, round robins, big board championships, parties, junior camps, clinics and lessons. We will have preregistration for all 2010/11 ladies' round robins on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at 9:00am and men's on Sunday, April 18, 2010 at 11:30am on a first come, first serve basis for anyone interested in guaranteeing  placement in these activities.  You may sign up yourself and two other participants per round robin.  All information and procedures regarding sign-ups will be posted in the club on March 1, 2010.  Thank you for participating in our   e-mail registration. If we have not received your e-mail please fill out the form attached to your brochure and mail to Springton.                                                                                                                Courts will be available for Philadelphia Women's Interclub and USTA matches during the week in case of rain after closing. Springton will be open on the weekends until June 5, 2010, in the event of rain only.  Regular activities and contracts will end May 7, 2010.  Please remember all Contract Make-up cards, as well as any other make-up cards issued this season, must be used by May 7, 2010. Our 34 week 2010/11 Tennis Season will begin on Saturday, September 11, 2010, with the last day of play on Friday, May 6, 2011.  Contract time will not be in effect from Friday, December 24, 2010, through  Friday, January 1, 2011, inclusive. (Your contract time is 33 weeks) During this period our courts will be available for open time  play and holiday events.  This is also a great time to use your holiday make-up cards.  Members who do not wish to play on their religious holiday must advise the office two weeks in advance in order to receive a make-up card.  Any member who has not had their membership card validated this season, please stop at the front reception desk. There will be a $5.00 replacement fee for lost cards.                                                      Your contract group deposit for the 2010/11 season of $175.00 per court hour, $250.00 per court hour and a half, or $350.00 for two hours of court time and your completed court time application is due by March 10, 2010. Applications cannot be accepted without completed addresses and phone numbers.  Please check with the members of your contract for any change of address or phone number.  Should we not receive your deposit by March 10, 2010, we will assume that you are not renewing and make your time available to other applicants.  DEPOSITS ARE NOT REFUNDABLE UNLESS THE COURT TIME IS CANCELLED PRIOR TO SEPTEMBER 1, 2010, IN WRITING BY THE GROUP CAPTAIN AND YOUR CONTRACT TIME IS RESOLD ON A SEASONAL BASIS BY THE OPENING DATE. PARTIAL PAYMENTS ON COURT DEPOSITS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.                                                                                                                                                                                           Group captains are solely responsible for collecting and remitting the balance of court time and membership fees for the group by September 1, 2010. All players in a contract group must be members of Springton Tennis & Racquet Club.
